The v3.2 stress index is a six-axis composite of energy and food exposure, geopolitical pressure, fiscal headroom, demography and supply concentration, normalised to a 0–1 scale.
Lithuania was the first Baltic state to end Russian gas imports, through the Klaipėda floating LNG terminal, and joined the continental European power grid in 2025. It hosts the Mažeikiai refinery and runs a large cereal surplus. Frontline geography and grid security define its exposure.
Lithuania has ample water resources, with occasional agricultural drought.
