The v3.2 stress index is a six-axis composite of energy and food exposure, geopolitical pressure, fiscal headroom, demography and supply concentration, normalised to a 0–1 scale.
Singapore is one of the world's great oil-refining and trading hubs, processing and re-exporting crude though it produces none itself. Power runs almost entirely on imported gas. With negligible farmland it imports over 90 percent of its food, a dependence it manages through aggressive source diversification.
Singapore has minimal natural catchment and secures water through reservoirs, imports and recycling.
